Before a company authorizes an external partner such as EQUIcon with the development of a software system which is important to the company, it is necessary to trust the capability and reliability of the partner. We would like to start this process of trust with our good and numerous references. On the other hand, our clients and partners almost always prefer that the solutions we draw up are not made public. For this reason we are only able to demonstrate a small but representative selection of our work.

Expertise

EQUIcon employs highly qualified staff (approx. 85% with completed university studies in mathematics, physics or informatics, around one fifth of these with doctor`s degree). Continuous further training for software developers is guaranteed by regular internal EQUIcon seminars, training sessions and participation in specialist conferences.

Modelling and Software Design

Precise analysis of our customers' project requirements, drawing up functional and requirements specifications, the development of mathematical and scientific models for complex technological processes and their implementation in safe and effective software is used to prepare the foundations for fulfilling the substantive, scheduling and economic expectations of our clients.

In most cases the client's project specifications determine which hardware platforms and operating systems are used for software development - we are prepared for (almost) everything and have created projects using most platforms: Windows, Linux, Unix variations such as HP-UX and Solaris, iOS, Android, OpenVMS, RSX-11, real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, LynxOS, OS-9/OS-9000, RT-11, RMOS, iRMX etc.

EQ-Sped.isa for GEL Express Logistik GmbH

GEL Express Logistik GmbH (GEL) uses GELISA - a customer-specific implementation of EQ-Sped.isa in order to offer GEL-Partner customers a facility for recording and managing direct shipment orders. As EQ-Sped.isa is a web application, all customers can be simply incorporated without GEL having to provide its own system for each partner. It is ensured that GELISA takes all the particularities of GEL into account so that GEL partners no longer have to do any reworking after recording the shipment orders. The customers also have the complete information about the shipment prices.

Software Components for Live Scan Systems

The company Cross Match Technologies is a leading provider of solutions for identity checking. The products developed by the company are being used in more than 80 countries worldwide.

In various projects, EQUIcon has ported kernel software modules for several live scan systems from Windows to Linux. Under the management of EQUIcon and in cooperation with staff from Cross Match Technologies, the switchover to Qt under Windows and Linux was carried out. EQUIcon also participated in the further development of product-specific software.
